Hi ,

How are the new year's resolutions going? One of ours at The Ferret is to shout more loudly about the good work we've done, and the support you've given us.

With that in mind, we've put together a wee round-up of our achievements last year, and you can read our 'Best of 2022' article on The Ferret website.

Aside from that, we've a great selection of stories to kick off 2023.

So far, we've covered North Sea insurance, the far-right, and Chinese 'secret police stations' among other issues.

Yours,
Ali from The Ferret
The Ferret's best of 2022
A round-up of what we got up to last year.
2022 was a year of firsts for The Ferret, as we launched our first ever community newsroom in Glasgow.

We also had our first documentary, From The Margins, produced in collaboration with the BBC.

And we won our first award for Journalism Team of the Year at the Scottish Press Awards for our 'Who Runs Scotland?' series.

We've written a round-up of our work and impact last year which you can read below. None of this would have been possible if it wasn't for our readers and supporters. That's you!
