Hi ,

This past week we’ve brought you a series of investigations on key environmental issues in Scotland. We revealed that weed killers linked to cancer are still being used by councils, and that there’s been a decline in the condition of Scottish natural habitats and species. Another exclusive revealed that oil regulators are getting richer from the energy crisis.

We also revealed that over 3,000 people – including asylum seekers – have been held in police cells for up to 72 hours under immigration powers over the last five years.

As an independent platform the public interest issues we cover produce the types of stories not widely covered by mainstream media - including local, national and international issues.

With stories in mind, we need your help! If you live in Scotland, we want to know whether any bus services in your area have been cut recently. Have you noticed anything?

If so, please email Billy and let him know!

Warm wishes,
The Ferret
What did we dig up this week?
Nosing up the trousers of power
Should the police be allowed to
keep people in cells temporarily due to
‘immigration purposes’?
