Hi ,

If you follow The Ferret’s work you know our editorial team has done in-depth work on a variety of issues such as the climate crisis, workers’ rights, the justice system, corruption, corporate finance and much more…

As an independent and member-owned news platform, we want to find new ways Ferret Members can work with us to decide what issues we investigate, and to discover which topics matter to our subscribers.

So after consulting with our members in a survey, we will be meeting in person next week to explore the chosen topics and find out how we could approach them in a series later this year.

If you’re a member, join us Tuesday June 14th at 5-6pm.

If you are not a member, you can become one for as little as £5/month, and if you sign up with the yearly subscription we’ll give you a 40% discount!

You won’t just support journalism that changes things, you’ll help make it too.

Warm wishes,
The Ferret

with Bellingcat

As the Russian attack on Ukraine continues, Ali and Sam spoke to Eoghan MacGuire on this week’s podcast. Eoghan is the lead editor at open source investigation group, Bellingcat, which has been tracking and reporting on the conflict using publicly available tools and information.

We spoke about how Bellingcat puts together its investigations, the important work of challenging official government narratives, and how openly available technology is a crucial tool in modern journalism.
